BESPOKE ENGINEERING A MODIFIED LOTUS ELISE
Kevin, a long term customer, recently purchased a Lotus Elise with a previous conversion already carried out. Despite having been checked over and any issues resolved by a specialist, within 24 hours, it was clear the issues had not been resolved. Poor design and maintenance of the engine torque mount lead to sump damage, oil loss and the imminent demise of the original BAM engine.
So, to fix this properly, inspections were carried out, and we got stuck in to designing a superior torque mount bracket along with a conversion from rubber bush to rose joint at the engine side. Off-the-shelf parts rarely fit, so custom solutions are essential.

PRECISION THROUGH 3D SCANNING
Using 3D scanning, we captured the exact measurements of the chassis, engine bay, engine block and mounting points. This ensures a huge reduction in the trial and error method we all know and love, saving a ton of time and ensuring we are working with accurate measurements and surfaces, ultimately making for a far superior end product.

DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE
With accurate digital models, we crafted the new bespoke parts tailored to fit perfectly. Machining, laser cutting, and sheet metal fabrication we brought our design to life, ensuring strength, lightweight construction, reliability and most importantly, functionality.

THE PERFECT FIT
By combining modern technology with hands-on expertise, we continue to create components that enhance performance and maintain the Elise’s lightweight philosophy.
